Assisted Moving Provides the following services with compassion and integrity:

Develop a Plan

-Visit your home for a free consultation

-Assess your situation, based on your needs and wants

-Develop a customized plan to meet your needs

-Determine moving timetable

-Measure furniture and prepare floor plan

Organize the Move

-Sort and determine what to take, sell, donate, or recycle

-Coordinate moving company/appropriate resources

-Provide change of address notifications

-Transfer and/or disconnect services and utilities

Moving Day

-Work with the moving company to insure the right things go to your new place

-As the movers pack, we clearly label and number boxes, keep inventory list

-Unpack essential items and remove boxes

-Make beds, set clocks

-Set up kitchen and bathroom

-Recreate familiar surroundings, so it feels like home as soon as possible

-Connect TV, lamps, and computer

Follow-up

-Prepare for and conduct tag sale or estate sale of items you chose not to take to the new place

-Arrange shipping of items you want to send to family members

-Coordinate the cleaning of your former home

-Arrange for charity pick-up

Service Fees

Fees are based on an hourly rate for moving-related services and/or commission on consignments, estate sale, or tag sale. The size of your move and the level of assistance you want determine your overall cost.
